Shipping Notice for Large and Heavy Items
We strive to provide smooth and efficient shipping for all orders. However, due to the size and weight of certain products and the location of some delivery addresses, there may be additional considerations:
- Order Early for Whelping Boxes: If you are expecting puppies, please place your order well in advance to ensure your whelping box arrives before the puppies do. Allow extra time for potential transport delays. While delays are rare with smaller boxes, it can happen with larger ones.
- Remote Areas: For addresses in Canadian postal codes that include two zeros (e.g., J0A 1A0) or rural and township roads, delivery to your door may not always be possible.
- Depot Deliveries: In some cases, carriers may deliver to the nearest depot instead of your address, requiring you to pick up your shipment.
- Additional Delivery Time: Extra-large or heavy items may take longer to reach remote locations.
- Carrier Control: Once the shipment leaves our production site, it is no longer under our control. While we work closely with carriers to ensure timely delivery of large shipments, delays or adjustments in delivery are at the discretion of the carrier.
- Physical Address Required: Canada Post cannot accept or deliver large shipments, and couriers that handle these items cannot deliver to PO Boxes. A physical address is required for all large or heavy orders.
We will do our best to assist with any questions or concerns and ensure your order arrives as efficiently as possible. If your location may be affected, please contact us for more information or assistance with your delivery.
Canada Post Strike
Due to the Canada Post strike and the increased volume of holiday shipments, many shipping companies are experiencing significant delays beyond our control. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this exceptionally busy season as couriers work to manage these challenges.
Please rest assured that we are doing everything we can to ensure your orders are processed promptly. However, once your package is with the shipping carrier, delays may occur despite our best efforts.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
